This Double CD features mixes by Internationals E-Craig and Tony Cha Cha. E-Craig has played at previous H2O’s and his hard-thumping sets have energized the crowds time and time again. Tony Cha Cha throws in a funky edge to the CD, and sure gives it a favorable vote for inclusion in our record-box.

Twice a year Big Brother Productions puts on an event like no other dance party seen in South Africa. H2O… With a water-park and palm trees, grass embankments, gazebos, beach sand and a huge wave-pool providing the venue, party-patrons are able to experience night-time fun under the blazing African sun. Mind-blowing sound is set up around the park at various allocated dancefloors (8 to be precise), which offer a variety of house music and a recent introduction of hip-hop. SA’s top DJ’s entertain the crowds and many international acts have graced the decks!

So you need to ask yourself… Where else do you get to witness beautiful bikini-clad bodies splashing about to the best dance music, with smiles all round and a guaranteed good time that is yours and only yours?? H2O!!

The CD, distributed by Sheer Dance, immediately caught our attention. Great shout-out to people that sat down and thought over the design of this cover for the CD. IT WORKS!! The cover alone already sells the CD just by looking at it, and the vibrant colors and look transmits that certain energy that one would expect from Sheer Dance and any Dance album they produce and distribute.

Anyone that is familiar with La Med in Cape Town will understand that I can only compare the first CD to that of listening to beautiful funk while watching a sunset on Sunset Beach in Ibiza… only the South African version of that, in the setting of La Med… It works!! The first CD reminds you of beaches, cocktails, bikinis, baby-oil, sunglasses, sports cars, palm trees, umbrellas, sand and water. CD one takes you to that far-away place your mind travels to when you unknowingly follow the rhythm of the music by tapping your feet to the beat.

Tony Cha Cha really came forward and produced a perfect piece of art. His perfect mixes and “on the spot” track selection, shows he is no amateur when it comes to pleasing a crowd. The newly released “Red, Blue, Purple” from Marco V is also included in his set, and Benjamin Bates’s “Shelter” rounds off the first CD nicely… And then you get to the bonus track… Azzido Da Bass’s “Lonely by your side” catches you off-guard and prepare you for CD 2…

CD 2 mixed by E-Craig is where the harder party starts… if you compared CD 1 to Ibiza’s “Sunset Beach”, CD 2 can be compared to Ibiza’s “Club Amnesia”… Total chaos!! In a Good sense though. It is sure pleasure to listen to the perfectly mixed sounds… Music with floating vocals and great breaks that reminds one of the last “best party you ever had”… until the next one that is…

The second CD also features yet another track by Marco V’s newly released 200V album. This promises to be a party album that will be heard in many a car, club, pub or home entertainment system.
