This new album from the German maestro surprised us a lot.

We expected to find songs similar to what other “hit me baby one more time”-artists are riding on… monotonous beats similar to any of his old stuff.

Well, no more collaboration with Tom Jones and the likely sounds of “Sex Bomb”. He moved on, and in a very fashionable way indeed!

Smooth flowing sounds with great vocals accompany this great selection of songs. The CD lets you think of having sundowner drinks in a Penthouse flat overlooking the sunset.

Not to harsh, not to slow, this album can definitely set the night for some great fun with friends or that someone special.

From similar sounds like “The Verve” and “Cold Play” this CD takes you on a Journey rediscovering sounds long forgotten. Just listen to the song “Underground” and you will know what I mean.

The CD consists of R&B like sounds, and at the same time has got a jazzy feel to it as well. Not to mention the rock-influenced songs such as “Bounce”, and that Blues feeling captured in “Just look at us now”

Truly a sundowner journey, or just an album to pop into the CD player, open a bottle of good enjoyable wine and to kick your feet back with…
