With just under eight minutes left in the first track the beats started flowing, caressing my thoughts of that far-away club, but without letting me fall off those clouds I was floating on.

A trance masterpiece was slowly but steadily invading my imaginative world. I wanted more… and unusual for me I was forced to put down the remote control of my CD player. This was one CD I wanted to listen from beginning to end!!

No wonder this DJ was appointed not once but twice as the NUMBER ONE DJ IN THE WORLD!! I’m sure that he played alongside every celebrity on decks known to mankind, pleasing crowds from all regions and religions.

This Dutch DJ lives just outside Amsterdam in a town called Breda, and is also home to his record label company called Black Hole Recordings.

He boasts with a whole line-up of awards, ranging from Gold status of his previous album called Nyana and the Tiesto In Concert DVD to charting number one for his single “Traffic” for months on end.

Traffic was the first instrumental song in 23 years to pop the charts at number one in Holland, and can be found on this CD as well.

I mentioned this was a trance journey, and indeed it is! From banging sounds to smooth slow-jams making you think of a laid back Southern Comfort advertisement.

After the smooth sounds of that first track “Forever Today” you will be surprised to hear yet another big tune. This time he joined forces with American producer BT to bring you “Love Comes Again”. Just as you think things cant get any better than this you get stunned by the awesome hit “Traffic”. At number four you will find sweet, but dark vocals complimenting “Sweet Misery”. Marvelous!!

For some time now we have been wondering when we will hear a CD with different styles, baselines and breaks, but this takes the cake. The CD can be described as having a great meal out with friends in an awesome up market restaurant. Just as you recon it’s time to ask for the bill and finish off the night, the owner of the restaurant tells you that he’s got a surprise for you, and he brings you a bottle of their finest campaign on the house!! This campaign comes in the form of “Adagio for Strings”, the last track on this journey, and leaves you thirsty for more.
